Hi all and welcome to the weekend again i dont know about you but time just seems to be fling just the other days it was the start to the year and now we half way through the year. It seem there is just not enough time to get training in or that race that was just a few months to come is now apon you, I know that feeling it keeps on happen to me and then if not that you get lazy. My one training partner has been sick and the other broke his colar bone while mtb’ing in our area. People say cycling is safe yeah right i have seen some pretty horrific injurys from cycling it is scarey but we not gonna look into that. Well like i was saying with the time fling so in Swaziland we got Sibebe MTB challange in July then in August we got the the Siteki bicycle race and then in October there the City 2 City. So Now its down to the nitty gritty and to just put some time on the bike.
Thanks for your time
Malcolm

Hi again all i have been really busy today cropping screen shots of gps data from the Imvelo Classic I know i aint in tiptop shape at the moment so that shows in my really slow times.
Also another thing i have been talking to people about weather to start a forum or not its out of interest sake that i would do this to see what people have to say about different topics pertaining to cycling and anything thats interesting in the world of cycling and things like FAQ’s. I think at the end of the day if I can pull this off it will be very rewarding.
Show your support leave comments and all sugestiongs are welcome and you would like to contribute leave a comment with your email adress in the comment sections and i will get back to you!
Thanks again
Enjoy your weekend

Hi all this is press release from the guys at the Imvelo Classic just thought I would share
Once again, with under a week to go, the entry limit of 500 cyclists has been met. No more entries can be taken.
Registration: 1pm to 9pm Friday 5th of June 2009, Quatermains.
The registration venue is once again at The Gables Shopping Centre but this time at Quatermains – a famous watering hole for tired, thirsty Swazi’s and others who have driven a long way to do a mountain bike race…
Registration will begin at 1pm and ends at 9pm and on race-day, registration ends 30 minutes before race starting times:
Starting time
65km – 8am registration ends 7:30am
34km – 8:45am registration ends 8:15am
22km – 9:30am registration ends 9:00am
So collect your loot – T-Shirt or Cycling Jersey (dependant on your distance), water bottle and other regular gumpf and then head another 3 meters into Quatermains. Rumour has it that Quatermains management will be running a beer promotion as well as a live band – come along early and find out. But don’t forget about your race the following day!
In defiance of a proud Swazi Tradition, African Time will not be adhered to for the start of the race, please note that the race times will start as published.
- Remember – no helmet no ride.
-
Judges decision is final.
-
Any protests to be lodged within half an hour of finishing
-
No entries on the day, the limit of 500 has been reached.
Any race enquiries, contact Jacques on (00268) 528 3992
